Career
Hillman describes leaving agency web development in 2006 to freelance, then missing the experience of having coworkers. Indy Hall grew from the idea that people could be each other’s coworkers without sharing an employer. His work with Stacking the Bricks extends that interest in independent work to finishing projects, making products and building businesses.[1][2]
Contributions
api2cli is a Claude Code skill that discovers endpoints from documentation, live requests or captured traffic. It builds an endpoint catalog and generates a command-line client with a subcommand for each operation. The output supports readable terminal results and structured JSON for another agent or program. Authentication, pagination and rate limits are part of the discovered interface.[3]
Ideas
The skill also writes instructions for the generated CLI, with command examples. That companion artifact lets a later agent session operate the interface without first reverse-engineering the generated code. It connects tool creation with tool use: the output includes both executable commands and the context needed to call them.[3]

Read the Resend example to follow endpoint discovery, CLI generation and the companion skill. Trying it requires Claude Code, an API to wrap and credentials for any authenticated operations.
