Design around the moment a phone is inconvenient
Ali’s original project announcement describes arriving at a full Citi Bike dock and building a display-glasses application to find the next one. The application presents nearby bike and dock information in a compact augmented-reality interface. Its published compatibility note limits the current display layout to smart glasses with a resolution of 600 by 600 or less.[1][2]
Offer the same task through a familiar voice shortcut
The project page also links free iPhone shortcuts for asking Siri to show nearby docks or bikes. They provide another route to the location task without requiring glasses. Ali previously introduced Hal, an iMessage utility for article and video summaries.[2][1]
