altan builds ColliePWA, a self-hosted mobile interface for terminal coding agents. The project connects a phone to sessions already running on the developer’s computer, making blocked tasks and requests for input easier to reach.[1][2]

Contributions
Put the session that needs attention first
Collie’s dashboard prioritizes agents waiting for input. From a phone, the developer can read a session, reply through the keyboard, send terminal keys and receive notifications. The PWA also exposes workspaces and code changes, letting a person inspect what an agent has done before responding.[3]
Keep the terminal on the host
Collie is a client and bridge to a terminal multiplexer rather than a second coding agent. Herdr is its primary supported backend; tmux and Zellij support remain experimental. Each instance connects to a multiplexer, while crews can group several machines behind one interface. The public browser demonstration uses simulated data.[4]
Ideas
The documented deployment assumes one operator on a private Tailscale network and pairs the phone with the host. Sending keys to a live terminal carries the user’s actual authority on that machine. The repository therefore distinguishes private tailnet access from public exposure and explains the limits of its single-user model.[4]

Try the simulated browser demo before installing. A real deployment needs a supported terminal backend and Tailscale on the host and phone; follow device pairing and keep access on the private tailnet.
