Carry a memory-and-skills layer between agents
Agentic Stack supplies a portable .agent directory with adapters for different coding tools. Its current repository includes dependency-graph orchestration, bounded work loops and local activity records. Candidate changes to the harness pass a screening process before installation. These facilities coordinate and inspect agent work; the supervisor’s process checks do not provide an operating-system sandbox.[4]
Make memory local and synchronization explicit
Brain stores notes as Git commits and builds a searchable local index. A command-line interface, terminal dashboard and MCP server let multiple coding tools access that memory. Onboarding shows the files it will change, and remote synchronization happens through explicit push and pull commands. The design gives the person a durable record they can inspect independently of a conversation.[5]
Let a person watch the browser task
Serein runs existing coding-agent command-line tools in browser tabs rather than supplying its own agent. A person can watch the work, take over or stop a task, and grant access as needed. Its documentation specifies macOS 14 or later and uses the installed agent tools’ own sign-ins. Avid’s public profile identifies Serein as a product he is building.[1][6]
Ideas
Avid’s builder’s guide separates the agent’s execution loop from the information it uses. Working notes, past events, reusable lessons and preferences live in files; skills describe how to do a task, and protocols define operating boundaries. The article credits existing patterns, including Gstack and Claude Code’s memory hooks, rather than presenting the arrangement as an entirely new invention.[3]
