Background
The Korean blog publishes practical walkthroughs for agent tools and systems tasks. Its recent material includes restoring Pi sessions through Herdr and using a WSL Pi environment from Windows. The tutorials complement the session manager by explaining how the surrounding tools fit into a day-to-day development environment.[2]
Contributions
Keep long-running agent sessions easy to return to
pisesh adds favorites, search and a current-session indicator to the Pi coding agent’s session list. A reader can rename a session, filter by working directory and choose whether to resume with current defaults or the saved model settings. Favorites and title overrides live in sidecar files; ordinary renaming does not rewrite the session history. The terminal interface handles East Asian display widths so Korean, Chinese and Japanese titles remain aligned.[3]
Generate and translate subtitles locally
WhisperSubTranslate turns a video’s audio into an SRT file using whisper.cpp, then optionally translates it with a downloaded Hy-MT2 model or an online engine. It generates speech transcripts rather than extracting an embedded subtitle track or reading screen text. A queue and local history track jobs; separate synchronization models address timing drift. Local transcription and translation can run offline after the required downloads, while online providers have their own credential and pricing requirements.[4]
