Chroma (GitHub: chroma-core) develops Chroma, also called ChromaDB, an open-source search infrastructure for AI released under the Apache 2.0 license that supports vector, full-text, regex and metadata search. The chroma-core organization hosts the main repository and related projects such as chroma-mcp, a Model Context Protocol server for Chroma.
