The clawshell GitHub organization, titled "ClawShell by Runta", is the home of ClawShell, Runta's open-source security layer for the OpenClaw and Hermes Agent ecosystem. ClawShell runs as a separate privileged process between the agent and upstream LLM providers: the agent holds only virtual API keys, which ClawShell swaps for real ones, and request and response bodies are scanned for sensitive data. Runta introduced the project in February 2026, and its main repository now lives under Runta's runta-dev GitHub account.
