Career
McHenry’s portfolio lists mobile and senior full-stack work at Amniscient from 2023, after UI engineering at CereTax and full-stack engineering at Schiefer Chopshop. Earlier, he founded VPS host Hostlegend. His client work includes Volcanica Coffee’s storefront and subscription experience. He also describes building Hoblets and Kommandr across product design and engineering. This combines end-user interfaces with the systems and tools needed to operate them.[2]
Contributions
CodeGraph builds a local graph of symbols, calls and dependencies before an agent starts asking questions. Instead of repeatedly reading files to reconstruct a call path, the agent can query the graph and receive the relevant source with its relationships. The project includes MCP integration and automatic updates when files change. Its README distinguishes fewer total tokens processed from the amount of retrieved context that remains in a long conversation: dense graph responses can leave a larger persistent footprint. This is a useful limit when evaluating the tool for a small context window.[3]

CodeGraph
github.comA local code index and graph that provides structural code navigation to coding agents through MCP and a CLI.
Start with CodeGraph’s three-step setup on a repository you know well. Installation, connecting the agent, and indexing the project are separate steps; compare an answer about a call path against the source before relying on the graph.
