Career

Miessler’s own career history describes building Robinhood’s vulnerability-management and application-security programs in 2021–2022. Before that, he headed business intelligence for Apple’s information-security organization, ran IOActive’s advisory-services group, and held several roles at HP, where he co-founded Fortify on Demand. Since 2022, his company has focused on security and AI work through Unsupervised Learning.[1]

Contributions

Connecting an assistant to a desired outcome

LifeOS, formerly Personal AI Infrastructure, organizes an AI assistant around the gap between a person’s current situation and desired state. It combines goals and context with reusable skills, memory, and an execution loop. This makes the harness and the information supplied to it part of the system: the assistant needs to know what the user is trying to accomplish and retain useful context across work. The repository provides the implementation and setup instructions for that approach.[2]

Reusable tasks and reusable security inputs

Fabric organizes prompts as task-oriented patterns that can be collected, customized, and run through a command-line interface. It addresses the practical gap between a capable model and a repeatable task in someone’s daily work. SecLists applies a similar collecting instinct to security testing: it gathers usernames, paths, passwords, fuzzing inputs, and other lists in one repository. The project explicitly credits multiple maintainers, and its usefulness comes from assembling and maintaining testing inputs rather than introducing a single assessment technique.[3][4]

An open-source AI platform organizing personal goals, context, memory, and execution workflows.

Begin with the README’s architecture and goal-setting model before installing anything. It helps distinguish persistent personal context from an individual prompt; setup assumes comfort with a coding-agent environment.
