Daniel Ávila Arias is a Chilean software developer from Maipú who studied informatics engineering at DUOC UC and later at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. With over a decade of experience as a software and BI developer — including roles at EY, SOSAFE, and ChileCompra — he pivoted to AI tooling and co-founded CodeGPT, a platform connecting LLMs to developer environments that has been adopted by companies including Microsoft, Meta, and NVIDIA. Now based in New York, he actively builds and publishes open-source AI developer tools and shares LLM expertise with the Latin American developer community.
