Career
Nahum founded Spectral around the start of the pandemic. In his first-person account of its working practices, he explains the challenge of building a distributed team and culture under uncertain conditions. Spectral’s founder biography identifies him as its CEO and co-founder and describes earlier CTO work at HiredScore, Klarna’s Tel Aviv operation and Como.[4][5]
Contributions
A coding agent small enough to inspect
Picocode packages a coding agent as a Rust binary and library. It connects to multiple model providers through Rig, supports interactive and scripted use, and offers named recipes for recurring tasks. Repository-local instructions supply project context. The default workflow asks for confirmation before destructive operations such as deleting files or running shell commands.[2]
Keep generation rules beside the code
Hygen stores templates in the project that uses them. A generator can create new files, inject content into existing ones and collect arguments through prompts. That makes a team’s scaffolding rules visible in the same repository as the resulting application. The workflow favors small generators that evolve with a project’s conventions.[3]
