buildspace organized programs for people developing their own ideas, spanning software, creative work and companies. Farza’s account describes its online nights-and-weekends program, a physical San Francisco campus and efforts to connect people working on similar projects. In an August23,2024 letter, he announced that he was closing the company after five years. His earlier work included education and gaming products; his current venture, HeyClicky, returns to helping a person learn or act through an interface close to the task.[1][3]

A screen-aware companion

HeyClicky sits alongside the desktop workflow rather than requiring every question to begin with a pasted screenshot. A hotkey gives it screen context, and a person can ask for spoken guidance or request an agent action. Farza frames the problem as making existing frontier models accessible through a better interface. The public Clicky repository preserves an earlier implementation. Its April2026 update says that subsequent development became private and points to the current HeyClicky product.[5][4]

Small tools with a single job

Freewrite is a minimal macOS application for writing without formatting controls. The repository includes a short Xcode path for building and modifying it. Stupid Emails is a Python script that sends email content and a custom prompt to a language model, then applies a returned tag through Gmail’s API. These projects expose smaller, inspectable workflows than the desktop companion: one removes interface distractions, while the other joins an existing mailbox to a classification step.[6][7]
