Supply the small services an agent cannot host
headlesstools provides link shortening, text sharing, mailboxes, reminders and file uploads through MCP or HTTP. These are operational building blocks: an agent can create a temporary public artifact or receive a response through a mailbox without first deploying a separate service. OAuth handles MCP connection, while the HTTP path uses an account key.[2][3]
Make storage and retry boundaries explicit
The repository documents limits, temporary file retention and one-time upload credentials. Stable idempotency keys make supported email retries less likely to duplicate a message. The implementation uses Cloudflare Workers with D1, R2 and KV for the different kinds of state. Those boundaries are part of making a hosted utility predictable inside a longer agent workflow.[2]
Capture, edit and share without losing the original
Screendrop combines screenshots, screen recordings and editing in a Mac menu-bar application. It uses on-device OCR and transcription, stores editable recording sources and provides non-destructive annotation. Sharing can use the operator’s own Cloudflare account. Its repository describes an actively developed product, with capture automation and agent integration built around the same local library.[4]
