GenesisDB is an event sourcing database whose GitHub organization is verified for the genesisdb.io domain and lists Austria. GenesisDB 2.0, released on October 24, 2026, made the server, every SDK and the VS Code extension open source under the MIT license. It ships as a single Go binary, stores events as CloudEvents 1.0 records and chains each event to its predecessor with SHA-256 for auditing.
