Career
His professional record names earlier engineering management at OpenZeppelin, focused on libraries and templates. Taiko’s 2026 update identifies him as CTO and credits him with work on Shasta, TaikoProofs, DeFi CLI and agent infrastructure. In September he announced leaving the CTO role to build a company outside crypto, while remaining a Taiko advisor and independent Security Council member. His current owned profile identifies Dovela and AI agents for business processes.[3][4][1]
Contributions
Expose transactions through a machine-readable interface
DeFi CLI provides JSON responses, canonical chain and asset identifiers, deterministic exit codes and discoverable command schemas. Read commands query markets, positions, balances or quotes; execution is separated into planning and submission. Signing uses either an encrypted wallet backend with policy controls or a locally supplied key. This separation lets a developer inspect a plan before authorization. Availability, fees and the consequences of submitted transactions depend on the selected network and protocol.[5]
Make agent communication follow a human trust relationship
Trusted Agents Protocol uses on-chain identities, signed invitations and authenticated messaging to connect personal agents. Local, directional permissions specify what a peer may request, including bounded transfers. Its model resembles a contacts list: an owner chooses a known counterparty instead of opening an agent to an unrestricted marketplace. Operating it requires wallet, network and messaging setup in addition to the agent software.[6]

DeFi CLI
github.comA JSON-oriented interface for reading DeFi data and planning and submitting supported transactions.
Start with a read-only balance or market query and inspect the JSON schema. Terminal and blockchain familiarity help. Reading does not need a signer; executing a transaction requires an authorized wallet and network funds and can move real assets.
