Give the agent examples to study
Appllama’s library organizes real mobile-app screens, flows and interface patterns alongside business context. The usage skill instructs an agent how to query that library, study a category and choose references before building. Its purpose is to make design research a repeatable input to implementation rather than relying on a vague request for a polished screen.[2]
Review the whole mobile flow
The companion app-design skill addresses Expo and React Native implementation: native controls, semantic colors, navigation transitions and motion. Its review loop records simulator flows and inspects them frame by frame, including states where a back action should no longer be possible. These are instructions and review criteria, not evidence that every resulting app meets that standard.[3]
Ideas
The repository allows the app-design skill to run without the Appllama MCP connection. The research skill uses authenticated access to the library; the documented Pro plan meters calls with credits. This lets a developer distinguish the reusable design guidance from the service needed to retrieve Appllama’s reference material.[3]

Read the two skills’ roles before installation. The design skill can stand alone; library research needs an authenticated Appllama MCP connection and a plan with available credits. Trying the implementation workflow requires Expo or React Native and a simulator.
