Career
Yanowitz studied history at Emory and worked in venture capital before building an outbound sales team at Sisense. He describes starting Blockworks at the end of 2017 and moving to it full time in May 2018. His interview explains the transition from meeting potential customers to building a business around a specialist audience.[2]
Contributions
His personal project directory includes VCversus, which compares crypto venture funds, and Bezos1000, a ranking of wealth creators. The projects make his interests tangible as interfaces and datasets rather than leaving them as commentary. They sit alongside his longer-running media work at Blockworks.[3]
