Career
Stripe Projects lets developers and agents add a service, obtain credentials and manage its billing from a command line. It moves setup work that often spans several dashboards into a repeatable workflow. Weinstein’s public profile also describes earlier leadership at Wagon and HyperPublic, acquired by Box and Groupon respectively.[3][4]
Contributions
Connect intent to a merchant’s checkout
Weinstein and engineering lead Steve Kaliski describe the Agentic Commerce Protocol as a shared format for communication between buyers, agents and businesses. The merchant retains its role in fulfilling orders and managing the customer relationship. Shared Payment Tokens let an agent present a scoped payment credential rather than expose a customer’s underlying card details.[2]
Services that can accept an agent’s payment
Their Machine Payments Protocol announcement addresses purchases that otherwise require an agent to create accounts, choose plans and configure billing through human interfaces. MPP coordinates payment programmatically, including small purchases and recurring services. The announcement illustrates this with browser sessions, physical mail and food orders. The standard was co-authored by Tempo and Stripe; Weinstein is a co-author of the announcement, rather than its sole inventor.[1]
