Career
Emanuel earned a mathematics BA at Reed College and worked at Tyndall, Scoggin, EigenValue, Dasoma, Dayah, Millennium and Balyasny. He founded the storage and AI-verification network now called Lumera. Beginning in late 2025, his Agentic Coding Tooling Flywheel connected coordination, task prioritization, session search and development safeguards.[1]
Contributions
MCP Agent Mail gives agents persistent identities, threaded inboxes and advisory reservations on files. Git stores a human-readable archive; SQLite indexes the messages. Agents can communicate through MCP while a terminal interface, web interface and command-line tools expose the same activity to an operator. The maintained Rust implementation replaces the original Python project. Reservations communicate editing intent; enforcement depends on the configured guard and on agents following the workflow.[4][5]
Ideas
The public de-slopify preview describes a writing skill that removes empty exaggeration and replaces generic framing with specific claims. Its version history distinguishes obvious fixes from judgment calls, protects punctuation used in code and mathematics, and rejects AI-detector output as proof of poor writing. The approach calls for a line-by-line editorial pass. Full skill content and synchronization require a subscription.[3]

MCP Agent Mail (Rust)
github.comA maintained coordination server, searchable message archive and operator interface for multiple coding agents.
Read the Rust project’s quickstart and reservation workflow, then trace one message and one file reservation through the operator interface. It requires supported local tooling and configured agent clients; the archived Python implementation is no longer the recommended installation.
