Career
At Vercel, Wolk’s résumé describes leading design and frontend work for AI Gateway after rebuilding Marketplace and Integrations. His earlier work includes leading the Haven app at Vert, running Wolk Creative and developing a property-analysis dashboard at Bianco Properties. He holds a BS in Business Administration with Product Design from USC.[2]
Contributions
Wolk introduced Train Jazz by saying he gave every New York train an instrument. The app turns the live map into a jazz ensemble. Its current published client assigns line groups roles such as bass, comping, solo and color, with register limits and voice-leading. Closely grouped trains can share a held note or voicing. The version notes explain the progression from raw oscillators through sampled instruments to role-based musical behavior. The mapping produces a composed interpretation of train activity rather than an audio recording of the subway.[3][5][6]
