Kit Langton develops programming tools and interactive explanations of effect systems. His projects include TailCode for reaching OpenCode through a Tailscale network, Neotype for Scala 3 and visual demonstrations of Effect programs.[1][2][3][4][5]

Reach a coding session from another device
TailCode starts an OpenCode service on the local machine and uses Tailscale to make it reachable within the user’s tailnet. OpenCode remains bound to localhost, while the published address provides access from authorized devices. A setup wizard and attach command guide the connection. This packages network setup around an existing coding agent, rather than replacing its runtime.[3]
Use a type to prevent a category error
Neotype supplies distinct Scala 3 types using opaque types and inline validation. A user identifier and an order identifier can share a numeric representation while remaining different types, preventing accidental substitution. Literal values can be checked during compilation, with runtime constructors for other inputs. Library integrations connect those types to JSON, databases and application interfaces.[4]
Show how an effect executes
Visual Effect turns operations into animated nodes with synchronized sound. It demonstrates composition, races and error handling over time. Langton’s personal site places these visual explanations alongside application tools and says he is working on OpenCode. His work uses several languages while returning to the practical question of how a programmer understands and controls a running system.[1][5]

Read the networking explanation before setup. Trying TailCode requires OpenCode and authenticated Tailscale devices; the walkthrough supplies the local attach command.
