Magnus Müller is co-founder and CEO of Browser Use, which builds open-source software and hosted infrastructure for AI agents that operate web browsers.[1][2][3][4]

Career
Müller’s Y Combinator biography describes a background in machine-learning research and process-automation R&D, with study in data science at ETH Zurich and publications for Cambridge CARES. He and Gregor Zunic launched Browser Use to connect language models to browser actions. Their accelerator launch explains the practical obstacles they wanted to address: brittle website scripts, persistent login sessions and the infrastructure needed to run automation reliably.[1]
Contributions
Open source and hosted execution
Browser Use provides an agent library that takes a task and uses a language model to operate a browser. Developers can run the library in their own application, connect an existing agent through the command-line interface, or use a hosted agent service. Those choices separate who runs the decision-making loop from who hosts the browser. Müller’s role is company co-founder; the repository is a team project.[1][3]
Work prepared for a human decision
Agency, previously called Open Duet, is a local interface for reviewing work prepared by agents. Its coordinator reads a user’s brief, prepares suggestion cards and presents proposed replies or changes for a decision. The project illustrates a broader product question in Müller’s work: how to turn an agent’s output into something a person can inspect and act on.[4]
