Lou’s personal portfolio lists a series of independent products rather than one employer or single startup. ShipFast grew from Lou’s account of repeatedly building the same supporting features for new applications. It provides a Next.js starter codebase with integrations for login, payments, email and database use. The concrete benefit is a starting implementation for common business plumbing, so a developer can spend more time on the application-specific feature. It remains a codebase that the buyer has to understand, configure and maintain.[2]

On ShipFast’s site, Lou describes changing his approach after spending a year building a startup that attracted no users. His response was to launch smaller products more frequently and reduce repeated setup. The practical loop is to put a specific tool in front of customers, observe use and revise the next decision. It describes his operating approach, not a guarantee that a template or fast launch produces revenue.[2]
