Career
Before founding Sonar, Berman worked on the team at 500 Startups. His farewell account describes nine years building Sonar, its acquisition by Marchex in 2019 and his departure in May 2023. Forward Future publishes AI interviews, model coverage and practical guides with a wider editorial team.[2][1]
Contributions
Berman launched Loop Library as a curated collection of agent loops, crediting contributors such as Peter Steinberger for individual examples. Its repository now includes Loopy, an optional skill for finding, adapting, auditing and running a loop. Each playbook specifies a goal, a check on the latest attempt, how to use the result and when to finish or ask for help. The website can be browsed without installing the skill.[4][5]
