Career
Hwang’s own profile describes joining Kakao in 2013 and working on Daum search, the Moment advertising platform and the OLIVE open-source management platform. His conference biography describes a previous AI Native strategy leadership role and current work in AI Studio FDE. His workshop has participants run an existing agent team, inspect its collaboration and adjust it to their own work.[1][2][5]
Contributions
Choose coordination from the shape of the work
Harness distinguishes deterministic workflow orchestration, persistent agents that communicate across turns and short-lived delegated tasks. Its design process chooses among those modes based on control flow. It generates agent definitions, skills and coordination artifacts, then includes verification and maintenance stages. The evolve workflow turns feedback into changes to the resulting harness.[3]
Keep a continuing team legible
Codex Harness packages reusable agent definitions with persistent orchestration and communication logs. It organizes work across agents while keeping the project’s state and exchanges available for later inspection. This complements the team-design problem: a useful arrangement also needs a way to continue and understand the work it performs.[4]
