Career
Willis’ public profile identifies her AWS developer-advocacy role. She has also coauthored AWS training announcements, including the updated Cloud Practitioner Essentials course, whose modules connect compute, networking, storage, security and pricing. The teaching approach connects a service’s mechanics to when a developer would use it, rather than presenting a list of cloud product names.[1][5]
Contributions
BillAI Bass combines a Raspberry Pi, a speech-to-speech model and the fish’s motors. Audio streams to the model while a person talks, and response audio streams back over the same connection as it is generated. The application can play that response and synchronize movement instead of waiting for a complete recording and a separate response cycle. Willis uses the project to explain turn-taking, audio orchestration and tool access in a conversational agent.[4]

Read the BillAI Bass article’s audio-flow explanation before its hardware sections. Reproducing the fish requires a Raspberry Pi, electronics work and cloud-model access; understanding streaming voice does not require modifying a toy.
