1 Tool
Philipp Emanuel Weidmann, who publishes as p-e-w on GitHub, is a software engineer and independent researcher focused on large language model alignment and interpretability. He created Heretic, now the most widely used tool for removing safety-alignment restrictions from open-weight language models, used to produce more than half of all abliterated models published on Hugging Face. He also designed the DRY and XTC token-sampling algorithms, now built into most local LLM inference engines - DRY has been merged into llama.cpp's default sampler chain - and widely used for creative writing and roleplay.
