Career

Arani’s résumé lists Handshake AI’s Software Engineer II role from September 2025, after software engineering at Slash and NOCO and co-founding Prospify. At NOCO he worked on algorithms, firmware and electronics. He completed an honors computer-science BS at Arizona State in 2024, with a computational mathematical sciences minor.[1]

Contributions

Expose flight search through a programmable interface

Fli offers Python, command-line and MCP interfaces for searching Google Flights. Its current transport requests the public search page with encoded filters and reads the embedded result data. That is an unofficial interface whose behavior depends on Google’s page and transport changes, rather than a supported Google developer API.[3]

Construct a workplace before evaluating its worker

Workbench simulates a professional firm over time, then materializes its records into emulated email, calendar, messaging and practice-management tools. An evaluated agent sees documents and tool interfaces rather than the simulation itself. Tasks are graded against answer keys computed from the same world state. Recorded model calls allow the underlying world to be replayed; the published task pack separates certified tasks from older experimental worlds.[4]

Ideas

The current documentation distinguishes usable searches from missing features: multi-city search is unsupported, booking-option retrieval is unavailable, and some filters have transport limits. An empty response is not proof that no flights exist. Those boundaries matter when a program turns search results into an answer for a traveler.[3]

Read the current transport and unsupported-feature sections before trying a search. Installation needs a supported Python environment; treat missing results and filter limits explicitly in any application.
