Career

Salaja’s current portfolio identifies Warp as his employer and earlier work with Fun.xyz, Lovable and Variant. Before those teams, he spent more than a year at Avara, and he has freelanced with OpenSea, Spotted in Prod and Daybreak. His personal projects concentrate on details of interaction, including motion, dialogs, sound and organizing saved material.[1]

Contributions

Keep shared characters continuous during a text change

Calligraph compares the old and new string when its React children change. Characters shared by the strings move to their new positions, while new characters fade in and removed characters fade out. Built on Motion, it exposes transition settings so developers can change the movement. The result is a component for showing a change in text without replacing the whole label at once, with React and Motion as explicit prerequisites.[4]

Describe interface sound in code

Audio presents declarative browser sound synthesis: developers define sounds through parameters and play them from interface events. Its examples make the sound itself available alongside the controls, so a designer can compare a change by listening rather than reasoning only from a waveform setting. This is a tool for constructing interface feedback, not a library of prerecorded music.[5]

A React component that moves shared characters and fades text entering or leaving a string.

Change the text in Calligraph’s demo and watch shared, entering and removed characters separately. Trying the component requires React 18+ and Motion 11+; no animation knowledge is needed to inspect the live examples.
