Santiago Fernández de Valderrama Aparicio, known as santifer, builds AI workflows and created career-ops, an open-source job-search assistant. He founded and sold Santifer iRepair, then served as Zinkee’s Head of Applied AI from April to September 2026 before focusing on career-ops.[2][3]

Fernández de Valderrama founded Santifer iRepair in 2009 and sold it as an operating business in 2025. His portfolio describes connecting repair inventory, orders, appointments and customer messages through an Airtable-based business system. Jacobo, the service agent used there, routes WhatsApp and voice requests to specialized workflows for bookings, quotes and orders. The published n8n exports show the division between language-model interpretation and deterministic operations such as discount calculations and human escalation.[2][5]
Contributions
A job search with the applicant in control
career-ops runs inside an AI coding command-line tool and keeps the applicant’s data locally. It compares job listings with a CV, scores their fit, prepares tailored resumes and application answers, and tracks the search. Its important boundary is that the applicant chooses what to submit. The project grew from its creator’s own job search and is presented as free, open-source software. Its current documentation supports several coding assistants, making the workflow useful beyond a single model provider.[4]
Making agent activity visible
Claude Pulse exposes usage windows and reset predictions in the macOS menu bar through SwiftBar. It compares the rate of quota consumption with elapsed time, helping users recognize when their current pace could exhaust a limit. Jacobo’s exports address a different form of visibility: the routing, tool calls and escalation paths of a service workflow can be inspected as separate steps. Together these projects make otherwise hidden operational constraints available to the person supervising an agent.[6][5]
