Personal portfolioCareer
Hannadige’s portfolio describes cognitive-science studies at UC San Diego and a design practice working with clients and mentoring other designers. His selected engagements span transportation, industrial-product matching and clinical devices, connecting interface details with the surrounding product workflow.[1]
Contributions
His film-scanning account describes an unsuccessful attempt to let an agent drive scanner hardware, followed by a safer division of work: keep scanning in existing software and automate the resulting image processing. The pipeline converts negatives using color measurements across a whole roll before adjusting individual frames. This preserves consistency while reducing repetitive manual conversion, leaving the photographer to review and edit the output.[2]

Automating my 35mm film scanning pipelineshannadige.comA practical account of separating physical film scanning from repeatable conversion and review of image files.
Follow the failed hardware-control attempt before the image-processing pipeline. Film-scanning familiarity helps; the useful starting point is a known-good scan, with review of the conversion before processing an entire roll.
