Simon Eskildsen is a Danish software engineer who represented Denmark at the International Olympiad in Informatics and later joined Shopify, where he spent eight years helping scale its infrastructure from thousands to a million requests per second as a Principal Engineer and Director. He is widely known in the Go ecosystem as the creator of logrus, the language's most-used structured logging library, and in 2023 co-founded Turbopuffer, a fast vector search engine built on object storage.
