Tambo is a Seattle-based startup founded by Michael Milstead (formerly a software engineer at Microsoft) and Michael Magán (formerly a product manager at Indeed, Convoy, and TaxBit), who met at a Seattle AI Tinkerers event. The company builds open-source infrastructure that lets AI agents respond with interactive UI components in React applications rather than plain text, and is backed by The General Partnership, Dropbox CEO Drew Houston, and Convoy co-founder Dan Lewis.
