Website Career accountCareer
Martin’s career grew from embedded systems and telephone infrastructure into consulting, training and books. He became an independent consultant in 1993, helped convene the 2001 Agile Manifesto meeting and later developed video education with his family. His current homepage describes him as mostly retired.[2][1]
Contributions
SwarmForge separates agent work into isolated Git worktrees and tmux sessions. Agents exchange committed changes through handoffs while a local dashboard exposes activity, approvals and clarification requests. Different product branches configure small role pipelines or a multi-project coordinating host. The main branch contains shared runtime and installation material; a user selects the documented product rather than expecting the landing branch itself to run as the whole system.[5]
Ideas
Clean Code organizes coding practices, progressively larger case studies and a final set of heuristics. Readers inspect and revise existing code rather than learning only a list of stylistic rules. The book connects naming, functions, error handling and tests with maintainability.[4]
