Contributions
An illustrated route into machine learning
“Machine Learning for Everyone” introduces prediction and pattern-finding through familiar problems, then distinguishes approaches such as regression, classification, clustering and neural networks. The essay uses diagrams and concrete examples to reduce the vocabulary barrier. Published in 2018, it is a guide to those foundations rather than an account of today’s language-model capabilities.[4]
From documents to accounting records
TaxHacker accepts receipts, invoices and PDFs, uses a configured model to extract fields and stores the results as structured records. Its features include custom fields, categories and historical currency conversion. The open-source application helps organize documents and review extracted values; it does not establish that a model’s output is correct or that an expense qualifies for a tax deduction.[5]
An administration interface over an existing database
GodMode2 generates create, read, update and delete interfaces for SQL tables, with configurable views, filters, batch actions and access policies. It is a standalone Python application using Flask and SQLAlchemy, allowing an administration interface without requiring the main application to use the same framework. Its repository describes an immature project and asks users to inspect the code before using sensitive data.[6]
