Career
His earlier portfolio describes co-founding Geniverse and researching creative tools at Morphogen, including ArtBreeder and ProsePainter. Krea’s recruiting page records that he left master’s study at Cornell to build the company. The through-line is an interface that gives a person access to generative models while retaining control over the result.[3][4]
Contributions
Krea3 accepts image references alongside instructions for changing a scene. The launch demonstrates keeping a product’s identity and label while altering its setting, or replacing furniture while retaining the room around it. Perez presents shorter waits as a way to support repeated creative decisions. These are Krea’s team-built models and product demonstrations.[1]
Ideas
In A New Krea, Perez and Diego Rodriguez describe a sequence: listen to creatives, build usable products, improve the infrastructure and models, then pursue research informed by that experience. They frame AI as a medium spanning images, video and other formats. The design problem is making iteration and control feel natural to the person working with it.[2]
