VideoDB is an AI infrastructure company founded in 2023 by Anup Gosavi and Ashutosh Trivedi, who previously co-built Spext, a browser-based video editor that scaled to thousands of customers managing tens of thousands of hours of content. Drawing on backgrounds in machine learning, distributed computing, and media product design, they build the backend infrastructure that lets AI agents ingest, index, search, and stream video and audio as programmable data.
