Claude Code desktop app gets parallel-session workflow

We've been working hard on making the Claude Code desktop app great for running lots of sessions side by side. It's now much quicker to start sessions, easier to split work across a few, and you can always see what each of them is doing. Here’s what's new:
Context
Parallel coding creates two coordination problems: keeping edits separate and noticing which session needs . Anthropic's desktop announcement focuses on starting and supervising several Claude Code sessions. Its desktop documentation explains that Git worktrees can give sessions separate working copies of a project.
The interface can also show two sessions side by side, while sidebar filters organize work by status, project or environment, and the app sends a notification when a session it is not showing finishes a task. Separate working copies are a choice: for a Git repository, the user selects the worktree option next to the branch name. Opening another session without it starts a separate conversation, not an isolated copy of the files.
