Claude Code Projects: one conversation directs parallel cloud threads

Anthropic says Projects in Claude Code now run from a single conversation. In its announcement, the user describes what needs doing, and Claude directs parallel threads, separate streams of work running at the same time. The beta runs in Claude Code's cloud sessions, which execute on remote machines instead of the user's own computer; that is presumably what lets the threads keep working after the user closes the laptop, though the post does not spell out the mechanism.

Access is narrow for now. The feature launched in beta for select Pro and Max subscribers using cloud sessions, and Anthropic says it is coming to all Claude users soon. The announcement does not describe how the threads share information with each other or how their work counts against a plan's usage, so those details are not established by this post.
