Projects now run from one conversation, starting in Claude Code. You describe what needs doing, and Claude directs parallel threads that keep working after you close your laptop.
In beta today for select Pro and Max users in cloud sessions; coming to all Claude users soon.
You can talk to Claude the way you'd brief a chief of staff: several things at once, in any order. It routes requests to new or existing threads and checks in when it needs you.
The Overview panel shows what's waiting on you, and you can steer any thread, even from your phone.
A project builds over time. Every thread adds to and draws from its shared memory, so Claude can remember that the release moved to Friday, or who to ask before touching the billing service.
The project's library keeps the files you add and the ones Claude creates.
Threads run in the cloud, so they keep working even when your computer is offline, but they can't reach files or tools on your computer or your internal network yet. Local support is coming very soon.
