Inkling Small from Thinking Machines is now available on AI Gateway

Vercel added Thinking Machines' Inkling Small to AI Gateway with a capability aimed at image details that are easy to overlook. Its announcement says the model can crop, zoom and inspect images programmatically, including documents and charts. Those operations let an application examine a relevant region more closely. The release also exposes adjustable reasoning effort, giving developers a control over the quality, cost and response-time tradeoff. These are supported capabilities to evaluate on the application's own visual tasks.
