About
git-dupe adds a second Git repository inside a project's own Git directory for files that belong to you, such as notes, scratch scripts and agent instructions. Those files stay in place in the working tree but are hidden from the project's status and add commands, so they cannot be committed to a public repo by accident while still having full history. It is driven with the same commands as Git through git dupe, and syncs between machines through a remote you choose.
