About

Zit is a git extension for repositories that several developers and coding agents change at the same time. Each session works in a copy-on-write workspace instead of a git worktree, which avoids duplicating files and installed dependencies. Changes land one at a time, each checked against what landed since it started and against checks declared in a config file, and the reason for each change is kept.
