Memoe is a macOS menu bar and notch app that lets users talk to their Claude or ChatGPT account from inside any application instead of opening a chat window: it listens for 'Hey Moe,' reads context like Mail, Calendar, and past conversations, and can perform actions on the Mac such as attaching files or sending messages, asking for confirmation before anything leaves the device. It runs on whichever account the user already pays for, an API key, or a local model, and stores memory as a plain file on disk.

It replaces the chat-window model with an ambient assistant that acts across every app, useful for developers who want voice-driven task execution beyond dictating into a coding agent.
