About
semloop is a Python library for detecting loops in AI agent traces. It replaces the word-overlap stagnation check in deepeval's AgentLoopDetectionMetric with a judged check of whether the agent made progress toward its goal. It supports several judge backends, including TypeSafe's Jev and any OpenAI-compatible chat model.
