About
DissPair is a Bluetooth security toolkit, shipped as a native Kotlin/Jetpack Compose Android app and a Python Linux CLI, for probing real behavior of Bluetooth Classic RFCOMM and BLE GATT devices in authorized lab settings rather than relying only on service discovery metadata. Its maintainer credits it with finding two CVEs in third-party devices, and its own documentation discloses that its flooding and payload-injection features can crash or disrupt a target if misused.
Why it made the leaderboard
It gives security researchers a portable way to probe real Bluetooth device behavior versus advertised behavior on hardware they own or are authorized to test, and it has already produced disclosed CVEs.
