About

MAX Authorization Sandbox is a local, reproducible Rust environment for testing whether a deterministic system correctly enforces a signed, default-deny authorization policy. Its reference baseline exposes three actions (STATUS, PING, READ_SECRET), where the distributed manifest authorizes only STATUS and PING, letting researchers evaluate whether an actor, including an AI agent, can get the unauthorized READ_SECRET action to run anyway.

Why it made the leaderboard

Gives agentic-security researchers a minimal, concrete testbed for verifying that signed authorization policies actually deny unlisted actions rather than trusting an agent's self-restraint.
