ZenTabTimer is an HTML page that uses the browser favicon itself as a countdown timer, showing a circle that visually drains as time passes. It was built for pomodoro-style work sessions so a user can check remaining time by glancing at the browser tab instead of clicking into it or being distracted by moving numbers on a tab.
Why it made the leaderboard
Lets anyone keep a pomodoro timer visible in any browser tab through the favicon alone, avoiding the constant tab-clicking and distracting number changes of typical timer widgets.
