Timewarp is a Pomodoro-style countdown timer built around a cubic-bezier easing curve modeled on the fast-then-slow progress bars MrBeast uses in ad segments to discourage skipping. Because both the progress bar and the displayed countdown follow that curve, remaining time appears to shrink quickly at first and crawl near the end, distorting the user's perception of how much time is actually left.
Why it made the leaderboard
Applies a known attention-manipulation trick from YouTube ad bars to a focus timer, giving a concrete, testable way to make a countdown feel shorter without changing its actual length.
