About
Wardkey is an experimental Windows credential broker for Git and the AWS CLI. It keeps credentials in an encrypted vault and checks the requesting process and a local policy before releasing them, optionally requiring Windows Hello approval. Decisions go to an HMAC-chained audit log, and decoy entries are denied and logged. The author recommends dummy credentials for testing.
