Context

Vercel's (Model Context Protocol) connection lets an AI assistant complete supported purchases after the user confirms the charge. Its announcement says the assistant quotes a price and identifies whether payment is one-time or recurring before proceeding. If an exact quote is unavailable, it points to the relevant pricing or billing page.

The connection can handle purchases such as domains and plan upgrades, but the user still needs a team role with billing access and a valid payment method. Product eligibility also applies. The change brings a purchase workflow into the assistant while retaining explicit confirmation and account-level billing requirements.
